Creativity

I love art. The way I use art is unique. It is a form of mediation for me. I get lost in time and space and all my worries and stresses seem to stop existing. It is my escape from reality and into another realm. I know in the world we live in there are over 3 billion people who make under a dollar a day (check out the gumball population on youtube). There are more tragedies in the world today then there ever was before. We can say it is due to the larger population compared to what it was in the past. We are growing at an exponential rate, and there are billions of people who suffer from diseases. So saying that I need something to escape from the worries and stress in life wouldn't be fair if I was to compare myself to the rest of the world. However I am not comparing myself to anyone, what I am suggesting is that I use this as a way to clear my head space to tap into my creativity and the subconscious. I suggest for you the reader to do the same, find something that you enjoy and that nothing else matters when your doing it, be aware of how it makes you feel. Your awareness is key to your greatness. Is stress holding you back from reaching your full potential?

Reinvent myself

I had an accident when I was working in the construction industry. I was working on replacing a window and after 5 years of experience and countless times of mastering the work, I was replacing the window over the kitchen sink, it shattered and a small piece fell on my wrist. Mistakes do happen even if your really good at what you do. I had to get rushed to the hospital. When I got there the doctor had inspected the injury and told me that I had cut two tendons and that I would need to see a plastic surgeon. When I got home that night I had to revaluate what it is I was doing and why. I had to look deep within myself and ask myself why I was doing what I was doing and if there was anything else that I can do, that I can find more rewarding in my life and that will pay me better then what I was being paid in the industry I was all too familiar with. Change is not easy for anyone, and it was scary to think that I would have to go into the unknown and the uncomfortable.  As I was reflecting upon myself I knew change was inevitable. Life is too short and too precious to be doing something that doesn't bring you satisfaction and that is potentially dangerous. Don't be afraid of change embrace it. When that fear comes over you, it means your stepping into a growth mentality.

Crisis

Looking at this screen is like a blank canvas waiting to be painted. As I retract my thoughts, memories flood in and there is so much I want to write yet I don't know the best way to put it on this screen. I want to share my insights as to what I believe is going on today in our society. I don't want to bore you with the facts as I am sure that you can Google any source of information you want in a matter of seconds. There is a crisis brewing and a financial collapse waiting right around the corner. We are repeating everything we have done in the past before a crisis, I believe crisis is inevitable. Companies will be downsizing, people will be losing their mortgages (liabilities) and some will even have to shut down their entrepreneurial ventures, others may argue this point of view. Regardless of the matter, it all depends on how you view the coming crisis, and if you place blame or take responsibility. There in lies opportunities at every corner. Even at the worst of times you can capitalize and take initiative to come out ahead of the norm. Success is predictable, it is not luck, be ready to adapt or you will not survive (great read by Les Mckeown Predictable Success). You want to disrupt the industry, just like all the recent start ups that have made millions, such as UBER or Air B and B. Take calculated risks, be innovative, set SMART goals and build an all star team that has the same core beliefs as you do. Most importantly bring value onto others. Educate yourself on how you can help others first so that others can help you, by helping others you create a connection and a future. A friend of mine once told me "No matter how we contribute, it important to add value in an authentic way, without an ulterior motive, genuine and helpful and unassuming." There is so much more I want to write, I have been keeping these blogs short assuming you may be reading this on your smart phone. So I hope to increase the frequency as to how many blogs I write a week. Thank you for taking your time to read these blogs, I want to create value to my readers by educating. Best way to learn is to teach.

The Passion Myth

Don't follow your passion, let your passion follow you. I have recently read a book by Cal Newport called "so good they can't ignore you". He debunks the long stood myth and goes to say that you should focus on and work hard at what your good at, develop your strengths. When you become great at what you do, you will become passionate about what you do. It is true what he says, because the notion of following your passion can lead you a stray. I have been in search of my passion and have realized the more I searched the less happy I became. There is no need to search for it when it is staring you right in your face, become aware of what your good at. If your not happy doing what you do, then stop doing it, master your skills and strengths and do something your really good at. Reason it will make you happy is because you will feel the sense of accomplishment. Today I also came to the realization that nobody is perfect and it is ok to not be understood. I have people in my life telling me that I am a completely different person today then I was yesterday. I reinvent myself and surprise myself with what I am capable of. If you don't know what your good at then ask someone who is close to you to point out your strengths. Mind sharing is crucial to our reinvention, great minds think alike clever minds think together. I attended a youth seminar at a university campus, and the results from this seminar were amazing because of the type of setting that was provided for sharing problems and solutions. I am a echo  boomer, sharp, capable, and craving knowledge and success. I am inclusive and do not discriminate against others, and most importantly I am optimistic. Reinvent your self everyday by working on what your great at, and become even better then you were yesterday.

Self-Perception

Nothing is easy. I have been told numerous times over the years, not from the same source either. Why is that nothing is easy? Why do things have to be so complicated in life and in business? I suspect it is through the perception of which you view it. Some people may view their life is difficult, but others may see that things are easy for you. It is the lens of which you look at things and events that happen in your life. If you could step outside of your body and look at yourself and imagine that things are not the same from how you perceive them. Comparing yourself to others is not the right way to measure your success, it will make you envious and jealous. You should only compare your own past to your own present. Don't judge or blame others, most of the time your misinterpreting the situation, things may not seem as they appear. Certainty turns attitude into action. Be certain of yourself, serve others instead of judging or criticizing and don't expect anything in return. Don't make it a transaction, "life without giving is a life without living." If you want to create loyalty, then stop expecting things in return when you serve others, find people who believe in what you believe and make a greater impact on those people. If you have not lived by this mantra and you do, I am certain that your life and business will change dramatically, also express gratitude for everything in your life. All of these are positive energies that the universe will reciprocate back to you and your business. Lastly do what you love and whatever you do don't do it just for the money. I was asked to give more personal examples in my blog so others can relate to it, so here it goes. I spend a lot of time giving back and serving others. I have started a givers group with one of my friends whom I met through a network business meeting in Vancouver. In this group we are hoping to create a lasting change in our community. Our first target was to help impoverished youth by a measurable and a pay it forward system, then moved to impoverished families and now through collaboration we are creating the missing piece of the puzzle, which is a hub where charities can connect to other charities and the recipients are aware of how to find the appropriate resources. There are ways to market without funding, I was able to successfully do that for one of my companies.

My Story

Who am I? I am a entrepreneur who wants to inspire others to bring out there talent and become business leaders. I was born in Lithuania, and I was raised by my grandparents and parents in Israel. We have been moving from country to country due to the government in place. A month after moving from Israel the prime minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated. Moving to Canada has been a blessing despite leaving all my friends, my grandparents and relatives. It was a new beginning for me and my family. At first it wasn't easy adapting, coming from a different culture and background acceptance was the hardest part. Don't take the path of least resistance. Most of us are programmed this way, to stay safe and stop when obstacles come our way. You will never get to the pinnacle of success this way. Be grateful for what you have otherwise you will never find what your searching for. At first it was hard to visualize that I would become who I am today, a multiple business leader/owner, building a system in which I collect residual income. Going the extra mile, becoming a philanthropist by building a givers group and giving back to the community. I am grateful for my parents bringing me to Canada and I am grateful for every event in my life. Not all events in my life I am proud of, but they have shaped me to who I am today. My best friend said to me you want a business not a job. If it's a business that you have to continually work in it becomes your job. You want a system were you spend less time and earn big rewards. To get to this stage you will at first need to work hard through the pain to make it a lasting success. Don't give up when the going gets tough. You can always make and lose money, you can never make time. So prioritize and spend the time as if it is your last year, month, week, day, minute, second on this planet. Say F**k no if whatever your doing or about to do is not worth your time and it will not move you forward, ask your self why am I doing what I am doing. If the answer does not align with your values and your dreams stop doing it. Are you letting money control you? or are you in control? How do you know if your moving forward?

Trust

Think like a consumer. When your running a business or in a relationship always put yourself in the other persons shoes. It is extremely difficult for some people to do this, like myself for example. It does not mean that your selfish or something is wrong with you, but if you have not been taught this skill it will take time to learn. This is being empathetic, sharing the other person's feelings. Once you have mastered this skill then you will have common ground to be able to build rapport with that person. Establishing rapport is crucial to building trust. There is a fantastic novel by Lena Sisco "You're Lying" she explains very systematically on how to build rapport through her interrogations with terrorist detainees. How does this apply to everyday life, well if you cannot establish rapport and build trust then you will not be able to sell anything to your prospect. We all sell whether you are a husband, wife, child, girlfriend, boyfriend, employee, manager, etc... We all sell our ideas to others, whether it is asking to go to a movie, to buy an ice cream or to have an employee complete there task. Last blog I left with a question on how do I measure my success. I measure my success by looking in the past and looking at my relationships and my businesses and comparing to where I am today. I feel very strongly that I am heading into the right direction with my skills, talent, and the ability to learn, adapt and grow each and everyday. Before I was very negative and could not understand why I could not get ahead. Today that is something I no longer struggle with and I am making leaps and bounds financially, emotionally, and physically. Maintaining a strong mindset being positive and mastering the art of learning I am able to prosper and grow. Dream big, don't do anything you don't want to do because we have very little time on this planet and using the time doing things you don't want to do makes no sense to you. If you can be the master of your life you will be the master of your business and those around you.  I leave you with that thought and next blog I will share on how to think and what to do to be a successful entrepreneur.

Awareness

Life teaches us lessons, it is our choice whether we learn, and be aware of the teachings or ignore and repeat the lessons. We all learn differently, be conscious of how you learn best, if it is visually, auditory or by doing (kinesthetically), and be sure to use this to your advantage. The most important thing to remember is to be fully aware. Its also not about what your doing its how you think about what your doing. What you focus on is what you attract, this is simple to understand, if you focus on the negative that is what you will attract in your life and in your business. The same holds true to the opposite, focus on the positive and opportunity's in your life and your business will emerge. For anything to change you must change first. Why I am inspired to write these blogs is to express my views and opinions publicly, and to change peoples mindset and lives after reading the blogs. Writing these blogs gives me a sense of accomplishment by empowering the reader. If you ask quality questions you will get quality answers, be aware of the questions you ask, If your not getting the answers you want, your not asking the right questions. Always ask WHY, to get a deeper answer and awareness. Great read by Simon Sinek is Start with Why. How great leaders inspire everyone to take action. He goes to say, "there are two kinds of leaders, authoritative kind and inspirational". The authoritative will tell you what to do and the inspirational will guide you and prompt you to want to do it. I strive to be the latter. One person or event has the power to change the direction the individual is taking, it is up to the individual to want to change and to go down that road. One must realize that it will take hard work and many steps, multiple experiences to achieve greatness, and to better oneself. Do you get things done or are you a procrastinator? I used to be the latter, and its not hard getting things done, the hardest part is starting. Even if you took one thing out of my blogs to better yourself, your mind will change and that will change your life. Is what I am saying true? Why should you believe me? I was caught in a loop, and it took some realization and awareness to get out of the loop and to improve my life and the people around me. Now I realize the impact the awareness has on me and I see dramatic changes in my businesses and my personal life. How do I measure that success?

Inspired knowledge

If your looking for what you want to find you will eventually find it. The power is within you. Everyone has an agenda, what is yours? Mine is to change the individual mindset to grow prosperous beyond their imagination, this gives me the ultimate satisfaction. Knowing I can give back with what I learn to those who want to learn. If someone was to ask what I do I would tell them I help and support peoples talents and bring them out into the world of  business as well I am also a student and eager to learn life's and business's lessons. Growing the people around you will eventually enhance your growth. The imagination is a limitless place of creativity. However the external environment affects us and limits our possibility's. We get to stuck in our box, and we only see things as they are not as they can be. To be an amazing entrepreneur you must have common sense and urgency. What my beautiful and smart girlfriend (soon to be fiance) has taught me is to question everything. Anything you come across or anyone you must ask your self WHY? Why did this event happen to me, Why are these people interested in me. Look at both the positives and negatives. As I am writing this I am also reading a fantastic novel called the Third Vision by Dr Francis Vala and he states that there's two things we do in life and that is avoid pain or pursue pleasure. Which do you do in your daily life?

The choice of a positive attitude

Success and failure are our own perception. We view it the way we want to view it, others may view it differently. If your concerned about how others view this then it will be a struggle for yourself to move forward in life and in business. Some may consider the smallest of wins to be a successes's others can see this as a failures until something larger has been accomplished. Recognize your own perception of this, be consciously aware. If you pay attention to things you usually don't you will see things you usually don't see. Everyone has the power of choice, what is your choice? How do you see the truth? You are the creator with what you feel and think you create your life. You can change your life by creating new thoughts and feelings. You can't take action without thinking first. To be a successful entrepreneur and to reach your highest potential in life you must have a positive mental attitude. Attitude is the most important aspect, it will determine your outcome/results. Other aspects include having a sense of urgency to act immediately. Imagination by being creative. Having laser focus on the task at hand without any distractions and logic. If one lacks any of these traits that person is not a true entrepreneur. What inspired me to write these blogs is by reading other blogs and seeing how successful in my opinion they have been to attract many readers all over the world, by giving them useful content to read. I would like to do the same so I acted with urgency, focus, creativity and logic to share my knowledge and experience as a successful entrepreneur, and to change other people's lives. Reading what people have done in the past is a great way to learn and avoid the mistakes others have made. What motivates me to wake up every morning is knowing that I can challenge myself to learn and to be closer to my dreams and to inspire and motivate others to do the same. We will talk more about this in my later blogs, My question to you the reader is what motivates you to wake up every morning to do the tasks that you are destined to do? Remember we all have the power of choice. We don't have to do anything, we choose to do everything.

Habit

Life is a series of routine habits, we can become successful when we instill constructive positive habits into our lives. If you develop a reward after a que a habit is born and you will seek that reward every time after the que (the Pavlov experiments with dogs, bell rings and dog starts salivating). It is a process, and a lot of us have become unaware of how our habit are formed. What ques sparks a habit in you? Whether it is a positive or negative habit, there is something that triggers you to behave. Positive behavior has positive consequences, same is true for the opposite. I want you to be aware of the ques that trigger your habits because you can be in control of this and break any negative habits within you. Ask yourself why am I doing what I am doing, is it going to better me. If it is not going to better me it will harm me and I will not become successful. Yes of course everyone needs a balance in their life, but it doesn't mean that you need to have negative actions to balance your life. Live life to the fullest, look for opportunities. If your not looking for them you wont recognize them when they present themselves in front of you. What kind of world would we live in if we solved all of our unresolved conflicts, whether they be internally or externally. At the same token if you cannot experience despair then you will never know what true happiness is, if you cant experience failure you will never know what success feels like, if you do not experience hate you will never know what love feels like. We are all in different stages of our journey, enjoy the journey because that is whats more important then reaching the end of the journey. My life habits have changed as soon as I became aware of the ques that were occurring before my habits were. I was able to exercise will power and focus on what will bring me satisfaction if I change my habits. Think of how it will better you and the people around you if you changed your habits. Failure is if you quit and do not learn from there mistakes, Successful people fail fast, learn and adapt. I have a habit of learning and not giving up after a mistake is made. A wise man once said that he didn't fail 10,000 times to become successful instead it took him 10,000 steps to becoming successful. My objective is to enrich and empower the reader to bettering your life and achieving maximum success through adding value. It is in mine and your benefit for you to make it to the top in both business and personal life. If I can do it you can too.

Subconscious and Addiction

When you start looking for things they seem to appear everywhere you look. The power of the subconscious mind is astounding. The only way to filter out the cultural subliminal messages of whats right and whats wrong is to change your habits and to see the world from a different perspective. We are all programmed by society from when we are born, by our parents, the media, the environment, schools, and friends. These are all influences as to who we become as adults in life. Very few realize that there is more to life then pleasing others (pleasing others will not get you ahead in life, adding value to others absolutely will). I call those the curious bunch. They go against the grain and questions society's norms. Who created society's norms? Why do we believe in such notions? I believe there is a bigger problem emerging from our society and it is becoming worse as our human race advances. Addiction can be defined as the fact or condition of being addicted to a particular substance, thing, or activity. Our future generations are growing up dependent and highly addicted to technology, smart phones. Past generations created tools for the future generations to be able to reach information at incredible amounts of speed and connectivity (It is impossible to process the amount information that is in reach of our finger tips today compared to 30 years ago). With that comes a double edged sword, we are losing our ability to be able to interact on a face to face basis with one another as well as our conscious mind filters out all the information that is useful and takes in information that will only lead to our demise without our awareness. This leads me back to my story which I will communicate during my future posts. I have changed my way of thinking and have grown addicted to learning. I am grateful for the interactions with the people that have changed my life, the opportunities and the doors that have opened for me since I changed my way of living and my perception on life is remarkable . I acknowledge and am grateful for the experience and I am hoping to teach my children and our current and future generations to fight through temptations in life through any peer pressure and rebellious actions I live to tell my story as a successful entrepreneur. My intentions through out these blogs is to add value to others by sharing my experiences in life and in business and by sharing my knowledge that I have gained since my earliest memory.

New beginning

Each and everyone of us is unique. All of our experiences shape us to become who we are today. I came from a war torn country, Israel, to the land of the free. Without any connections or help my family struggled in my early years to afford a life that will eventually give opportunities to myself and my sister. We grew up learning to adapt at a very early age. Running into a bomb shelter every night when the sirens would sound didn't seem out of the ordinary until we arrived in Canada. The whole perception changes after that. I vowed I would pursaude my friends to leave there as well. It is hard to know any different untill you expereince the change firsthand. Listening to someone is not the same as taking action. My life continues to change on a daily basis. I feel i have a new breath a new way of thinking that will ultimetly lead me to my success story whome i can share with the rest of the world. Through per severance and desciplined habits anything can be achieved in life. You must dream big to become big. Small way of thinking leads to small results. My friend told me last night that he will read a book about me one day. I tend to leave that impression on others, not being egotistical, I want to lead by example and show that no matter how hard your childhood can be no matter where you are. There is opportunities standing right at our doorstep we just need to be open to those opportunities and seize them when they come around. We all have a uncommon story to tell.  I want to share my story with you.

The Life of a Entrepreneur

I will begin writing . First step to doing anything is taking action. Whether it is the right or wrong action it is a action and with out making actions we will stand still. Making the wrong action is a lesson to be taught to make the right action into the right direction. I am a 30 year old serial entrepreneur with big dreams and aspirations to becoming something greater then myself. I took a new lease on life and reading books opened my horizons to possibilities I never could of imagined. I shall seek new opportunities, open new doors, influence others and leave a legacy for everyone to aspire too. Currently I am working on my self image and brand, its hard to create something iconic but a decision must be made that's another important step to action.
